Portland Financial Services, LLc was founded by, myself, J.
Parkes, after a disastrous ending to my first company, when
I lost a partner to a tragic car accident. Having to manage far
more property than anticipated, I found myself stressed and
unhappy due to my lack of personal time. I awoke to work
related calls by 6 a.m. and went to bed commonly after 2
a.m., falling asleep on the phone or computer working on
property issues.
REALIZING YOUR DREAMS
I found myself in a very peculiar situation. I could not stop
buying property even if I wanted to. I was overwhelmed with
management expenses due to inefficient methods of
handling situations, inexperienced and under qualified local
labor, and a lack of knowledge of other property owners with
similar dilemmas to network with. Most of the brokers,
attorneys, and professionals I did business with, only cared
that keep bringing them business. They did not care about
my ever increasing balloon of issues that would soon have
to pop. I later began to find that there were more people like
myself around than I was lead to believe.
That is when I decided to found Portland Financial Services,
LLC. Our goal here is to educate buyers and sellers of
real-estate and present them with information and services
tailored to their individual needs. Unlike most seminars,
workshops and groups, we have a very hands-on approach
to mentoring. We hold the hands of our clients and
members as we walk them to success.
